The Help and Expertise that You Deserve

Online therapy for clients in Washington, Oregon, and Nevada.

Welcome! I’m Dr. Mike Unger, a licensed psychologist with twenty years of counseling experience. I specialize in addressing anxiety and mood-related concerns utilizing therapeutic approaches supported by research. Mindfulness and self-compassion practices are often integrated into therapy to support increased self-awareness and self-acceptance.

Clients that tend to benefit the most from my approach often struggle with excessive worry, rumination, self-judgment, irritability, low mood/motivation as well as increased stress due to relationship, work, academic or health related concerns. In therapy you will learn effective coping strategies, empowering you to make changes that will improve the quality of your life.
